Review on 🌊 Stay Hydrated and Eco-Friendly with the New Wave Enviro 40oz Stainless Steel Water Bottle and Strap by Shah Moser

Bottle fits my needs very well. There are no serious complaints. As it says on the bottle, it needs to be washed thoroughly with white vinegar or baking soda before use. Before that, it had a classic metallic taste. Then no taste at all. The bottom of the bottle has warped outwards after the water froze (increased air pressure). I used a hammer to bring the bottom back to its normal bowl shape. Surprisingly, very little force was required to make it, which is why I agree with others that this isn't the strongest bottle I've seen. The opening is relatively wide, making it easy to clean and add ice cubes. The lid is plastic with a rubber-like gasket that seals it well provided you tighten it properly. The thread is metal on metal so it's a must. Not exactly a complaint, but good to know about the type of bottle: * It's stainless steel, so it absorbs and releases cold/heat fairly easily. Depending on the ambient temperature, your hands will get cold or hot during use, not to mention the inevitable condensation. An insulating tote bag would be ideal but I haven't found one for it yet. * The metal is a little soft/thin for my liking, but I think it was a compromise between weight and strength. When it gets hit, it dents.* Obviously, it's a bit heavier than a regular plastic water bottle. The carry hole in the cap is perfect for my middle finger without feeling heavy. But I've seen that wearing it on a long walk can be tiring. Again the nature of the animal. If you don't like these inherent aspects of metal bottles, you will probably want to switch to plastic bottles. If that's not a problem, this one won't disappoint.
