Easy to install. Should be durable in the long run.

At first I did not like the multi-magnet interior structure, but then I realized it helped space my knives nicely and not touch like a solid bar magnet.
I bought this to replace a wooden model that was stained dark (knives put up with any moisture ruined the stain, warped the surface and over time the knives worn down the veneer. Natural bamboo will not have these problems, at worst, if roughed by water damage, a very light sand and mineral oil or vegetable oil coating will make these as good as new.

The knife holders may not fit all types of knives or utensils
