I am relieved to say that I utilized a thermostat rather than a Chinese. The Chinese were appropriate, but after two months of usage, the temperature control knob became stuck and could not be turned. It just so happened that different members of the family preferred different temperatures. The cartridge can, of course, be replaced, and doing so will not set you back a lot of money. But ridiculously LAZY! I used this Gro, set it, and forgot about it; it has worked flawlessly for the third month, just like a brand new one (I would like to remind you that the Chinese was no longer regulated after the first two months). About the features: in contrast to the Chinese, it is not capable of overcoming the significant pressure differential between hot and cold water. However, it still makes the disparities much less noticeable, and I found that to be rather convenient.
