They work great for the first two weeks. The sound button is then happily responsive, so the sound is turned off completely, so to speak, while your audiobook or music is still playing. The volume does not increase even when you use the volume button on your device. You get what you pay for I guess. I liked these headphones because of the style of the headphones. I prefer it to traditional iPhone headphones. However, it may be worth buying a more expensive/high quality pair of headphones instead of constantly swapping them out. I have now bought 3 of these and they all had the same problems.
