Review on Cqenpr Separation IEEE802 3Af Transmission Electronic by Chelsey Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great with 5MP cameras with over 100ft of cable. We tested it!

The Cqenpr PoE Combiner/Multiplexer is very convenient as it allows you to install a second camera at a remote location WITHOUT running a second Ethernet cable. I love this feature! We built the combiner/mux into the camera's test stand. Using an NVR and two fairly large 5 megapixel barrel cameras, we set up the system. See attached pictures. First we used a short cable between the combiner and mux just to make sure it worked! We then ran 100ft of outdoor ethernet cable and got great results! Both cameras and participants and both cameras provide smooth video. I am very satisfied as it saves me from running another cable, running a cable etc etc. So probably 4 hours of work saved using the Cqenpr PoE Combiner/Mux. Both adapters are set to weatherproof jackets 1/4 turn from mating cables, but they are not included. But I am glad that I have the opportunity to protect the connection from the elements. Significant improvement could be made and I hope the manufacturer is reading this: Adapter Mux End Needs Network Activity Indicators. This provides the installer with invaluable feedback at the time of installation, making the whole process much more efficient. Conclusion: I give 5 stars for the amazing adapter that allows me to use a long ethernet cable for 2 cameras! If you found this review helpful, please vote "Useful" using the button below :)
