Well I usually like Ram bindings. This one is ok out of the box. First of all this is the cheapest laptop stand they make, it comes with no extra frills or parts, just what you absolutely need. If you have a lip around your seat bolt, they recommend a longer bolt and spacer, which are conveniently included on more expensive versions. So instead of looking for the extra parts I need, I pulled out an angle grinder. A few cuts, a little sanding, and a few splashes of paint and it looks like it's chipped. To the credit of Aries, the base is very strong and has plenty of material to work with. The only other notable issue was a small movement that I couldn't get rid of by tightening the bottom clamp, so I added a thin sheet of rubber and now it's solid.
