The toddler likes them and wanted to put them on immediately. I bought these for my daughter because we live somewhere that gets very hot in the summer and frequently visit local splash parks. I wanted her to have something that would provide both traction and a bit of protection. The soles are soft like silicone and the top is stretchy like neoprene. These are perfect for our summer plans and she already loves them. Good purchase.
