Review on Astromania 1 25 Super Ploessl Eyepiece by Justin Ellingson

I bought this eyepiece to use with the Zhumell Z130. I had a complete Celestron Firstcope 4mm eyepiece which alone (whole scope and 2 EPS) cost a little more than this 4mm Super Plössl EP. I liked the 4mm focal length, just thought I could do a little better. Well, this EP wasn't the answer. Compared to the EP kit, it has a tiny hole. It's like looking through a pinhole. It's almost ridiculous how small it is. Likewise, the FOV is terrible. In every way this "super" 4mm seems to be inferior to my cheap EP kit. I don't understand how anyone thought this design could be used with such a small hole. There is literally nothing to see on him. Maybe longer focal lengths are better, but stay away from focal lengths of 4mm or less.
