Review on Cooler Master MasterCase Reduction Technology by Hayden Hart

This is an odd device as there just isn't enough room for action. It says it has two front 5.25 bays, but you can't fit two because the front fans and screen forbid it. These mounting bars for adding a second 5.25 addon are not drilled correctly so you cannot install them together as shown in the instructions. I had to make big changes to add a second single bay fan controller. The instruction manual is the worst I have ever seen! This device does NOT like my ASUS Rampage V 10 series motherboard as it covers 1/2 of the rubber grommet routing holes. My Rosewill 1600W PU occupies 1/2 the bottom of this case. My Sapphire 9 Radeon Fury just about fits in the 1/4 inch gap between the hard drive bays. The ad says you can add up to 12 hard drives. IS NOT IT! There are 12 slots, but if you put 12 hard drives in, they will be stacked on top of each other with no airflow between them. This unit must be AT LEAST 1 1/2-2" taller AND AT LEAST 2" WIDER AND DEEPER. Cables (which I do) DO NOT reattach the back cable cover. You have to use cheap unshielded cables and then push them down to tighten the screws. Two of the 4 fans that came with this case were NOT working. The other two interior customization options are BAD JOKE HOPEING FOR A LAUGHTER as there is even less space. The only plus point of this case is that it is made entirely of good metal. The empty block weighs 52 pounds. There is a plastic cover on the back and a plastic/metal cover on the front. Visually it's a very nice case with a 10+ rating, but otherwise it gets an A (but only for the effort, which is VERY BAD). I DO NOT RECOMMEND this case as it is a NIGHTMARE. PLEASE DO NOT BUY! WAISTED MONEY, The only reason I can't return it is because the return period expired before I received the other parts. UPDATE: 11/18/2020; What a piece of turd! Finally everything connected. SURPRISE, FAN CONTROL NOT WORKING, COLOR MANAGEMENT NOT WORKING, 2 1/2 months VERY THOROUGH work, WAIST! This is the MOST EXPENSIVE computer junk out there and CoolerMaster should be ashamed to release this piece of ABSOLUTELY USELESS junk. DO NOT BELIEVE THE PROMO VIDEO.
