Bought these as an alternative to masks (I have lots of them, cloth, disposable, regular vs KN95, custom prints etc). I added a small soft plastic frame and a carbon filter. Decided to wear it all day, not just outings (about 1 hour). For an hour or so the thing is ok if a bit tight but I have a big head and the whole thing stretches. Material (and I pushed the size slider all the way up), so while it's tight, it's not too bad. However, the small frame around my nose helped so I don't breathe through the fabric itself. However, when I tried wearing it all day, it became a little problematic. I wear it with my ears open so I can hear the headphones. He doesn't like that because his nose always wants to go down and I had to constantly correct it. And the weather is too warm to justify covering your ears. Even after wearing it all day, I felt like my head was in a vise. But remember, I have a big head. YMMV. All in all, this is a decent alternative to masks if you need something to change up your routine, especially. in the winter. But those with an XL head size, be careful.
