I have been looking for a heavier weight larger size crew length toe sock for a long time. Wanted something colorful and fun to wear with flip flops or on a cold day. There is a "name” brand which makes them in very limited colors for $17 a pair so I thought I hit the jackpot when I saw these. Waited to get them and when they arrived, I examined them and tried them on. The first thing I noticed was that they were very thin in weight. I would compare them to a thin dress sock not an athletic cotton sock. Then I tried them on. The sock came to about two inches above my ankle, not a crew length at all. So here I am disappointed by the two reasons I purchased these socks — heavy weight cotton, and crew length. Am now debating whether to return them and just bite the bullet and pay for the proven name brand at outrageous price and limited color.
