wow. This mattress is no joke. I was hesitant to spend $82 on a kids mattress but after reading so many great reviews I had to give it a try. 3.5 years ago I bought my daughter a foam mattress for her birth. It wasn't memory foam - it was noisy, pliable, cracked easily at the bottom and rolled almost immediately from where it dented to the middle. I thought all children's mattresses were basically the same, so I didn't really pay attention when my son was supposed to sleep on it. When I moved him from the crib in our room to the old mattress in his room, he wasn't a happy camper. For 3 months he staggered like a fish and rolled all night. I figured it might be worth getting him something new to sleep on and see if that would make a difference. It's absolutely true. It's been about 2 weeks and he's sleeping 10 hours straight! Are you kidding me? If I had known this find was this cool I would have bought it a long time ago. I know it's not a magical thing that will definitely change your life if you buy it, but it was for us. Hey, I'm the first to complain when a hotel bed isn't perfect - you don't sleep well at night and you're grumpy as hell the next day. Why shouldn't it be any different with a child? Pros: Well made product, great construction, reversible is a big plus, mattress topper looks well made too. Cons: The smell was a bit overwhelming at first but dissipated within 24 hours. I'm also not sure how fully waterproof this cover is, so I bought another one to extend the life of the mattress. I want to keep it for years to come! Overall I'm very happy with this product and I'm so glad I spent the extra bit to get my sleep back. A++
