Pretty shorts but unlined
I wear 14 in most pants. A size 14 in these shorts fits me comfortably and looks good. My only issue and the reason I'm returning them is that they are completely unlined, even without a separate crotch panel. I was going to wear them as pants for snorkeling etc but they don't fit.
