TradeKing Natural A complete delight, no flaws!: my truthful feedback

Hello dear friends and readers! Those who have known me for a long time know that insectivorous animals live in my house - eublefaras, red-eared turtles and white-bellied African pygmy hedgehog. Yes, yes, the hedgehog is still a predator! And the basis of the diet is necessarily fodder insects, some meat (I won’t go into details here, the review is not about that, the sample is small, everything is not so simple with the hedgehog’s nutrition). He will not eat apples alone, as in cartoons. Insects are always needed! Yes, if you feed cockroaches caught in the kitchen or catch something yourself in the summer, this is not an option. Most likely, kill the animal. Live insects are sold in pet stores, and there are also breeders who breed them specifically for sale. I stopped breeding fodder insects (they gave me a box with Turkmen cockroaches, it was the case). I think I won’t resume it soon, it’s not a very pleasant thing, especially if you fantasize about what will happen if the container accidentally turns over, etc., but you need to feed the animals. In a review about eublefar, I wrote about the escape of two "Turkmen" and my condition. Luckily my husband didn't run away. I’ll show Seryoga again - a well-fed handsome man! Sometimes we buy live fodder insects, more often frozen (or I freeze it myself), we bought freeze-dried cricket and locust for testing. I used to hear about canned insects, but I didn’t buy them - they could only be ordered from other cities - "hands didn’t reach”. Finally appeared in Yekaterinburg. I ordered several jars to try. The jar is quite small - 40 g. Listen, but framed - super-convenient! It's nice to even hold it in your hands. On the cover in the pictures you can see to whom you can offer. The top of the jar is covered with a lid: Smiled: crickets are produced by Yelets Meat Processing Plant. You know, somehow this information gives "weight" to the jar. It's great that if you have a lot of animals, then the cricket will suit many, indeed, many. Now relevant: many pick up fallen swifts. They also eat insects! No balls of minced meat and other amateur performances. That's how I killed a bird when I was a kid. It's good that now you can find all the useful information on the Internet. This cricket, unfortunately, is not suitable for feeding swifts, but if a "force majeure" happened, and there is nowhere to get insects, it will do just fine. There are also many nuances. House cricket. In live form, it is quite bouncy when compared with the two-spotted, for example. Again, according to the reviews of many of my friends, more often animals prefer brownies to two-spotted ones. Although mine sharpen everyone. Calorie content, storage conditions are on the package. Conveniently, after use, the jar can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Date of manufacture: For two whole years you can store and not bother. Imagine, there are settlements where live and frozen insects are not sold at all. Pet stores generally do not deliver this product to other cities. Freeze-dried insects, despite their advantages, are not suitable for everyone, I believe that such canned cricket is an excellent solution to the problem of feeding in such settlements! Many thanks to the manufacturer for the convenient cover! On it is necessary to make an effort and open with a can opener. Inside, juicy-looking, good-sized insects. Hedgehog is satisfied. Below is a video of a hedgehog eating crickets. Do not worry, his "support group" was under my strict control. No harm done. Cricket smells peculiar. The flavor is reminiscent of canned corn! Truth). The cats sniffed, but I stopped tasting attempts. Animals eat such a cricket perfectly. I only gave the red-eared a try, since they are huge and cannot be fed, but for baby turtles such a cricket is perfect. Eublefars eat both, including the fastidious Seryoga. I recommend! I am very glad that I found such a wonderful option for food for insectivorous animals. The price of a jar is 250 rubles. Expensive, but if you know the places where to buy and stock up thoroughly, then the cost will be lower. Regarding the benefits: according to the manufacturer, the cricket is rich in protein, and, of course, there is chitin, iron, amino acids, contains omega-3, oligosaccharides, calcium, and B-12.
