Review on ๐Ÿฅ Medical Action Industries: Uniquely Simplified Healthcare Solution by Young Rich

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I had no idea how much I would appreciate something like this until I started using it after surgery. Bought extra.

First experiences with one of these came after emergency surgery for a septic infection in a knee replacement. Had to use it from a hospital bed with the help of a nurse the first day, but after being able to use it myself I still couldn't get out of bed at that point. It was a real lifesaver! As I said, I was introduced to it after my second knee surgery within 10 days and in a different hospital than the first. After my first surgery I constantly had trouble going to the toilet because I seemed to lose control after getting a catheter for my first surgery, not to mention I just couldn't move very fast im Standing or on crutches, and I've had a few unfortunate accidents. The first hospital had nothing of the sort to offer, or even to offer. The second hospital sent it home to me and it has saved me from further accidents time and time again where I could use it on the edge of the bed when I needed to get going. This is the exact same device/brand that the hospital sent me home, although I bet my insurance paid a heck of a lot more for it than I paid for the Revain. I am still not exercising for the last 8 weeks and at least 5 more weeks before I have a knee replacement which will just be the start of rehabilitation for atrophy. I've bought a few more for the car, for the living room and one more for the RV when I'm well again. I had to learn how to position it correctly and not tilt it too far, but it was easy to figure out. The curved hem at the top prevents spills and has a very decent 1 liter capacity. I had no problem emptying it and then rinsing it with sanitizer and water so it was ready for the next use. Tried a different style with a large tank connected via hose to a male urinal that included a 'female adaptor'. , but this adapter kept unscrewing, completely defeating the purpose of using a portable urinal. It's not very expensive and is a great alternative if portability is an issue, but it will continue to be nice to have on hand when traveling or camping in the future. I had no idea how much I would appreciate something like this until I needed it. I highly recommend!
