what's up with the extra plastic?

it makes zero sense. my pigs pee a lot. I think I read somewhere that they pee every 15 minutes. If that's the case, the bottom won't last so I'll replace that with a piece of cardboard which can be readily replaced every 72 hours.

This was a great deal and a good quality. Get one!

Cons

I don't like that the plastic is longer than the tunnel. I had to cut it for it to work.
