So I gave 4 stars just for the price and will upgrade to 5 stars if I really find out that the ink is not the problem. It could very well be the printer itself. I received a used HP Officejet 8600 scanner/printer, these inks work and the cartridges fit right away. At first the printer could not calibrate properly (so it could be a printer error). But everything I've printed had either full gaps where the ink barely touched the paper, or not all that touched the paper, or there were faint/blurry color streaks along the printed areas, such as: B. Streaks. I googled the problem and it just said the heads are dirty or wrong. I re-diagnosed the printer (successfully this time), cleaned the printheads and also aligned them. However, the problem persists. something like. Now when I try to print I still get some streaks (streaks that are faintly printed or discolored) and spots that look like accidental ink spills. If I retype a few times now, it usually resolves and prints a quality page (although sometimes I still get a random black ink smudge or two). So I honestly don't know which product is the problem. The ink looks good when my pages print correctly. But usually I have to tap the same page 3-5 times to get there. The ink is so much cheaper than HP branded inks that it's worth a try, especially if you know your printer is working fine.
