Bought this for my mum we live in different houses but only 15 feet apart. She fell in her kitchen last week and, although uninjured, is unable to get up off the floor on her own. Luckily, I found her in just a few minutes. We usually use a cordless phone with two-way communication, and she also has an Apple Watch with fall detection, but it was 6am and she had just gone into the kitchen to get some food, but she didn't have either. So I bought her this, it's much more convenient and she'll be more likely to use it since she has a necklace around her neck. I also hung a second kitchen knob on the back of a chair for her to crawl on. And I put the audio in my bedroom, but it's loud enough to be heard around the house. It was very easy to set up and I am very happy with it so far. I have just purchased (but not yet received) door sensors from the same manufacturer, it is a great way for my mum to retain as much independence as possible and still get help when she needs it as well as some peace of mind for her and me, I am very happy with the purchase.
