Review on π§ Permatex 80036 Valve Grinding Compound: Precision in 1.5 oz. Gray Package by John Hashman
Too rough, unusable for my application
Too rough for modern precision engine valves. It may be fine for lapping valves on a 1948 tractor, but too coarse for my use on motorcycle valves. It literally feels like road gravel suspended in heavy fuel oil. They don't actually give a grit rating on the packaging. I ended up finding a much better two-grain combo pack (120 and 280) at my local auto parts store.
