I like to keep my standing desk clean so I was looking for a way to mount my eGPU case (OWC titanium node). The post on Reddit said that the size of this mount is just right for the egpu case, and of course it was right. Threading the straps is a bit tricky, but if you test it on your case before placing the mount on your desk, you'll be fine. For egpu you will probably use a smaller set of straps. Really solid. I pre-drilled the screws with a 1/8 bit and had no problems - just don't use a high-torque power tool. If you pre-drill the holes, you can use a regular screwdriver to drive in the screws. Either way, it's perfect for anything toaster-sized that you want to hide under your desk.
