Review on ZYLISS 2 In 1 Zester by Ali Mitchell

I've been buying a good "gutter knife" for a long time, which is suitable for making festive stripes to decorate cocktails. I've tried other "Cesters" but the knife always sucks; I returned them. I have used this ZYLISS (new model) on Orange (thick skin), Lemon (medium skin) and Lime (hard skin) with good results. I can only hope that it stays sharp in the future. I really wanted a channel meter that I could "pull" straight back. I've used others with a tailor on the side but they don't fit me. Citrus peels are difficult to pierce, and in my experience a side channel knife is more difficult to maneuver. This ZYLISS design with a big, comfortable handle (and a big hole if you want to hang it) gives me more control to cut into a nice long, thinner, even garnish that looks great on the glass or in a drink . seems to work fine when I need it. (And thanks to the people who answered my questions before I bought it. They were great.)
