Seriously, but worth a few bucks more. I have had the maximum number of filters since I ordered and installed the system a few years ago. I don't drink anything but water and pay close attention to the taste as it shouldn't be there. I recently ordered an advanced filter which is said to be great and just doesn't filter out as many different things. I take it that's no big deal? Not correct! Either the filter was defective or the improved filtered water must simply taste like tap water. I've never had a problem with any of the maximum filters I've ordered here or bought from the store. Some people have mentioned leaks etc. I haven't experienced anything like this before. They are also very easy to change. I strongly recommend and encourage you to stick to maximum filters. They cost extra dollars and mine last over 6 months without replacement.
