Are made of 100% vinyl so they crumple and smell like an inflatable pool. The screen print is clear, bright and placed as expected. Two washes with Delicate in the cold helped reduce the vinyl odor, although it lingers. Roomy but my kid was able to maneuver his backpack on his sleeves. The hood is oddly shaped so it fits but bulges a little at the top but my baby is protected from the rain and gusts of wind as expected so that's not a problem. My lanky 5 year old is in kindergarten heaven.
