Review on Rechargeable Handheld Cordless Portable Multi-functional Device by William Turner

Small and light but low power consumption

This is a good product although I'm not overly impressed with its suction power. I have several other rechargeable handheld vacuums (Shark, Dirty Devil, and Black and Decker), but I needed a cheap one, especially for keeping dead flies and ladybugs out of the cottage windows. It seemed like a good value. First, it's tiny. The photos in the listing are creatively cropped to hide this, but they are about 2/3 the size of any other handheld vacuum I've owned. That's good, but with the reduced size it has less power, a smaller bin, etc. Also, on my first use, the bin's tab broke off, so without a screw to tighten it no longer stays securely in place his. Also note that it comes with a USB charging cable, so you will need a charger. No problem for me, I have dozens of them. but if they're going the USB route, why do they have a barrel pin and not something generic like USB C/Micro? That way I don't have to worry about losing the cable. The battery seems to work decently, but I'm not impressed with its cleaning power. It would be best to have something quick and easy in the kitchen to clean up little messes as they arise. It works well for testing (grain, small leaves, flour, rice, etc.), but not as quickly or thoroughly as larger models, and doesn't clean up all powdery spills. I don't think it would be very good for vehicles, at least for pet hair and dirt/dust on the carpet and seats - use a vacuum for that. This works well on dead flies and will likely work on live bugs as well. So fine for a quick light mess, but as a general handheld vacuum and use in daily cleaning, cars, etc, I miss it. If I could go back, I'd spend the few bucks more on another Black and Decker.

Pros
  • Upright Vacuum
Cons
  • Expensive
