Review on Continental ContiVikingContact 7 225/50 R17 98T winter by Dagmara Nizioek ᠌

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

You know, I haven't felt this good about winter tires in a very long time. I made the commitment to never purchase Velcro after experiencing a studded ekogama, painful cordians, and an ambiguous henkook Velcro. The car has Toyo G3 studded, which is sufficient. Even if you account for the spikes, however, all that was, all this is nothing in comparison to these continentals. On the Continental, I was struck by how quiet the rubber was throughout. If there is snow, the urban mode gives the appearance that there are no wheels and that all that is left is the crunch of the snow. Rubber is much quieter and softer than Toyo and has better softness, unevenness, and fractures in the asphalt, particularly weak expansion joints on bridges. Although I feel very confident when driving in city mode, I occasionally worry that the car behind me might overtake me when I brake. The moment I started to slow down, the entire cabin shot forward, and even my wife realized how well-braked we were. On a rural road with a lot of rolled snow, the rubber acts brilliantly and offers superb traction. I got a chance to see the Outlander skid and roll as it attempted to drive up a short but very steep incline. Although I was concerned there would be issues, not a single wheel even skidded while driving uphill in a tight spot. According to my experience, Toyo will skid erratically even when brand new. What can I say, I checked on clear ice. Ice is not hers, but I observe that her braking is smooth, free of sliding, and that she drives with a sense of assurance. This allows for at least some maneuvering calm. I should add that not all studded tires will function effectively on clear ice. conclusion. 1. Despite being expensive, the purchase is entirely justified, leaving no room for regret. 2. Rubber, whether it is asphalt or snow porridge with chemicals, confidently displays itself in urban mode. 3. Regardless of what you say, no rubber will provide you 100% controllability on ice; instead, you must slow down and widen the space.

Pros
  • Silent, very silent excellent traction in snow, whether it's soft or icy
Cons
  • Although you should go more slowly when driving on ice, we don't frequently use winter roads therefore we don't need to worry too much about it.
