I really like copper, especially the hammered look of well-machined copper. I've looked everywhere and yes, I've seen a hundred commercials for the Gotham Steel Skillet (my kids call it the Batman/Dark Knight Skillet). I've searched everywhere and found many different pans. I decided to give it a try to see if it was rubbish or really worth the price. I'm so glad I decided to take a chance and buy this pan. I will definitely buy this set. First let me tell you that I can cook anything with this thing, and I mean I love to cook! I made perfect eggs after cooking country ham (which ruins everything but that pan) and I cleaned it up in literally 2 seconds. I even waited half an hour while the gristle sat in the pan to see if it would stick, spoil, or discolor. I wiped it off with a wet paper towel and boom! clean and ready to go. I made pancakes and poured honey over them so the honey burned crispy. If there's something I haven't done with this pan, I don't know what it is, but I want to wear it down to prove whether or not it's of its full value. So far I'm thrilled and would recommend her 100 percent. Now let me tell you all, if the floor looks like a blast furnace I don't need it, I want a product that will last and be used every day and look like a showpiece. I really want my wife and kids to be happy when I cook, which means I demand the best from the dishes I use. If Gotham would like a review of their other products send them to me, love them so far and would be happy to top them out on submission, or just admit this is the best stuff I've ever used! Oh I told you no need to buy that cheap plastic spatula, you can use copper or steel utensils with ease! Gotham Steel, you have a fan so far!
