We were in Paris for a week with 5 rechargeable devices and I took these 2 devices with me. He did his job excellently. The only change I would suggest would be that the increased length of the device is vertical instead of horizontal. Or place the USB ports on the side instead of in line with the outlet. One of the outlets I used in Paris was behind the sofa, and I had to move the sofa about 3 inches away from the wall to make room for the plug and two USB cords coming straight out. If the USB cables ran parallel to the wall it would be easier. Adding to this nit, I would definitely buy this adapter again, and I would definitely buy it as a gift.
