I bought this mainly for the fan which works amazingly well and keeps my laptop from overheating but the stand itself is one of the best I've had for my Macbook Pro . It has 6 adjustable settings that help in different situations depending on where I am with my laptop. It holds my computer with soft rubber pads that protect my computer. Nice solid quality design, the fan is very quiet and doesn't bother my work like some other cooling racks have in the past. Very happy with this design and would recommend it to anyone
