They sound terrible. It's very faint and distorted, like the teacher in the Peanuts/Charlie Brown "Mwah wah mwah wah" movies. This is completely muted bass, absolutely no mids and highs. When we use them, we have to crank the volume all the way up to hear anything at all. And even then, due to distortions, it is not possible to understand the spoken words in dialogue (e.g. in TV or movies).
