Great product. Does everything you could want from your pressure cooker and more! The problem with stainless steel in general these days is that they don't do things the way they used to. I have no idea why flavors are added to the star range seems like a silly addition. You don't get any flavor out of the food you cook. Heat distribution or something like that should be mentioned. When we go for proper cooking and heat distribution it hasn't given me any problems and the cooking seems to be very even and correct. Fits right into my Cuisinart and I even threw away my old pan because I I was so happy. I'm surprised why they sell these things with Teflon and not with stainless steel in their original condition. If you have the right size stove I would highly recommend this product. I'm not disappointed. And I use a pressure cooker all the time, so more than ten years. Yes, I needed a new pot. I don't feel like this one is falling apart! I'm glad I was able to find a worthy replacement.
