This bag is NOT a laptop bag. What, as they say. I LOVE THIS BAG! This is the coolest bag I've had in years and I'm so glad I bought it. It's very spacious and can hold tons of books. The two front pockets are great for stowing lots of little things that I carry with me (notebooks, small toiletries, cell phone). And the inner zip pocket fits my wallet, keys and a few other small items. I'm amazed at the sheer amount of things I can stuff in this bag. I haven't had it that long, so in a few months I'll let you know how well it holds the weight of everything I've put in it. I love its casual yet classy look. I wasn't sure I would like the color of the straps but the color works. I have received many compliments on this bag. Note: IF you REALLY tried to use it as a laptop bag - it has no padding so if you drop it your laptop will likely break. Also, the inside is VERY big. Your laptop is pushed. It's a messenger bag, and a pretty good one. I have a separate laptop bag that I use when I want to take my laptop with me when I travel.
