I bought this to hold and roll DnD dice. It's a great size and strength for any roll. There are a few things to note though, which I'll list here: - The box is quite rough, you'll need to sand it a bit to give it a smoother texture - The box has somewhat cheap hinges and a locking mechanism. maybe swap it out for something better. Velcro is ok but I hate them. If, like me, you just want a box of dice rolls, consider removing them. they just get in the way. Also, you can use the open cover for the most common dice you need. and just leave the extras in the divider area for those random throws. In my case I have now cut out a 3mm rubber layer and attached it to the bottom of the box for a smoother ride. I also cut out a piece of velvet to lay over it for the look and feel. A rebound-absorbing layer has been added to the rubber to prevent the dice from bouncing off the shell at all typical and average heights. It softens the flex of the rubber while still retaining most of the shock absorption. The box can still be closed completely if it is pulled apart under the divider. It would have been five stars if it wasn't for the paneling and some crappy hinges. I think it needs some work to be able to fully enjoy it, and that means that it is not a perfect product "as is".
