This is a practical medium sized ladies handbag but the description leaves some details to the imagination as the top of the bag is not shown. Instead of a central zip that keeps the entire wallet closed, there is just a magnetic clasp with a loop. It will be easy for someone to reach your purse while riding the subway or standing on a street corner. Inside the bag, there IS a zipped pocket - actually there are two - so some of the contents are somewhat protected, but otherwise things are open. The general build quality and construction is pretty good, with brass hardware, and the faux leather isn't as soft as real leather, but overall not bad.
