I have had an ispring 7 stage system for about 8 or 9 years now. This Isspring unit is huge - too big for a lot of under-sink areas - and the filter change sucks. Really messy, time consuming and annoying with all the hose changes. BUT the water is really amazing. No kidding, cool. But the system doesn't fill a glass from my fridge in less than 36 seconds. It's 4/5 full. Between annoying filters and slow fill times and wanting to regain some storage space under the sink, I decided to replace the system. I wanted to buy a system for my parents so I bought two of these ROK3A units thinking it would work with fridge dispensers, take up less space and be easy to change out filters. 2 out of 3 is correct as it takes 52 seconds to fill the fridge with the same amount of water even though the sink fills 2 seconds faster than the source. Strange. It's not ok - it actually can't be used with a fridge. They also shorted out a couple of blue clips for me that would have interfered with the install if I hadn't had a chance to steal them from my old system. Last but not least - the water tastes very stale compared to ispring. This device isn't even as good as any bottled water I've had. It's just not good - honestly, it tastes like tap water. He's flat and kinda blah. Overall I'm very disappointed - I thought I was taking a step forward, but instead it's a step back in the wrong direction when the water is bad and the fridge dispenser isn't working. I'll try. a few more days before returning, just to make sure nothing magically fixes itself. but I will most likely go back to my old system later.
