Just fitted this replacement band to my Garmin Vivosmart HR+ and am very happy with how well it looks and fits. First, I removed the portion of the old buckle strap (the part of the strap with the buttonhole) from the HR+ display, cleaned the appropriate attachment area of the HR+ display piece with isopropyl alcohol, and then attached the appropriate end. new part of the belt with the original screws. I then removed the other portion of the strap (with slots to adjust the size) from the HR+ display piece and removed the remaining silicone rubber adhesive (that Garmin had used to attach the strap to the HR+ display piece) from the other end of the HR+ display piece. , and use a toothpick to apply a small amount of GE Clear Silicone Adhesive to the inside surfaces of the open end of the new slotted belt. I then slid the open end of the new slotted piece of strap onto the other end of the HR+ indicator piece and secured it with the original screws while maintaining pressure to close the strap connection to the indicator piece. Care must be taken not to damage or damage what appears to be an antenna, which is visible at the end of the portion of the HR+ display covered by the open end of the slotted strap. The installed band looks the same as the Garmin band, although the buckle is shinier and doesn't say "Garmin" on it, and the small loop used to hold the extra length of the slotted band doesn't have the small ridge inside, holding the ribbon. loop in place. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. Now I'll see how long it lasts. The original lasted almost 2 years.
