I honestly didn't expect this to work. But the bat was cute so I ordered it. I'm happy to report that it actually glows if you hold it up to the light for a few minutes. The glow itself only lasts about 5 or 6 minutes, but it's fun. Can it last longer if you let it absorb more light or maybe natural light? The bat itself is about the size of a nickel. I wish he was a little bigger because he is so cute. I would love to wear it for the Halloween season! I personally thought it had a pretty chain, although I changed mine because I wanted it to be longer.
