DO NOT BUY, BAD PRODUCT. Maybe you can use it to collect clean stuff. Dirt and pet hair stick to the filter and get stuck in the narrow gaps around the opening. Too much interaction with dirt. If you want to collect loose powder, dust or cold ash, it blows them out from behind. When you open it up to clean, the bulky handle doesn't lie flat, it rolls. The last Black and Decker cordless vacuum I owned charged automatically when placed on the stand. I did not reorder this model as the battery soon refused a charge that lasted more than 1 minute. It's difficult to place it on a poorly designed stand, and then you have to fiddle with the correct installation of the plug in the vacuum cleaner. I hate this. Didn't use it right away so didn't realize how horrible it was so can't return it. I will write a bad review as many times as I think about unless Black and Decker is willing to give me another model or refund my money because I get angry every time I use it. DO NOT BUY, BAD PRODUCT
