This sling is perfect for water use. We have used it at the beach and pool. It dries very quickly and hasn’t faded. I still am working on the positioning on my shoulder. The sling keeps slipping up toward my neck and is slightly uncomfortable but I feel like it’s my error and just will take some practice.I would say there is a bit of a learning curve in getting baby positioned properly and the sling tight, but after fidgeting a bit and watching some sling positioning videos on YouTube I feel like I have a secure carry that accomplished the "M” positioning with baby’s knees higher than butt. The sling is not slipping while dry or wet when it’s threaded correctly and tightened.Baby seems comfortable and happy while in sling.The color of the fabric is more emerald green vs teal or sea foam/Caribbean green. It appears slightly darker in person than the photos on amazon.
