I bought this as an alternative to baskets/dressers. I need space for my socks, bras and underwear so I know what I have and use it. It's almost perfect, I agree with other viewers that I wish the whole thing was a bit bigger with a few bigger pockets. Overall I'm happy with it and bought it for my 9 year old daughter to serve the same purpose - it's perfect for her! I gave it 5 stars for durability but didn't test the load limit (socks and underwear are pretty light) and its performance over time (a week so far so good). The included hanger is durable. I am happy with this purchase and I recommend it, especially for small items (ties, jewelry, etc.) and for storing children's things.
