Review on Stark Thermal Wrap Wide Long Motorcycle & Powersports best: Parts by Kyle Smithlin

All colors fade after a short ride.

Very disappointed with this and here is why I have a purple bike and was very happy to put the purple wrap on to lay the exhaust pipe. Well I followed a YouTube video on how to apply it. I impregnated the foil so that it stretches when I put it on. I put it on top of the cold pipes and wrapped them around, starting from the back. The tape broke like crazy. As I wrapped the pipes, I kept cutting the frayed threads from the tip. When I did everything I loved the look! Two days later I went for a short walk, about 3 miles. My pipes were literally smoking. I thought my bike was on fire, tbh. As soon as I got to the store, after parking the bike, I looked down and saw the PURPLE film turned silver. All of the purple color will burn out. What's the point of selling purple foil if it doesn't stay purple? The point is to keep it purple. The next day I took another short trip and again the pipes are smoking and the hotter the film gets the more silver comes out. So disappointed about that. I do NOT recommend this film if you want it to stay purple. All that time and money just wasted.
