(updated): After 3 weeks of light use, some of the adhesive came loose and my device fell apart. The seller got in touch with me, seems very keen to rectify the situation and stated that they had fixed the issue and therefore downgraded to 5 stars. This is a practical product and I missed it when it broke. As of mid-March 2021, there didn't seem to be any good MagSafe options. This is a reliable standard *wireless* charger with magnets that comfortably hold your MagSafe-compatible phone. Things to understand: 1. This is *not* MagSafe: This is a standard wireless charger with a series of magnets that hold the MagSafe phone in place. It will not be recognized by the phone as a MagSafe and will not charge at full MagSafe speed. But it's just as convenient as my Apple MagSafe I use at home.2. For maximum speed, connect to a QC3.0 (9V) connector, similar to a wired Lightning cable. Charging takes 50% longer than MagSafe or twice as long as USB-C (based on the measured power consumption of this device <10W), but achieves the full speed that is possible with this type of charging. Plug it into any port other than QC3.0 (5V) and its power is <5W, which is small enough that it charges very slowly when using full screen brightness and a power-hungry mapping application.3. The included USB power adapter can detach from car connectors, so you can lose power completely without even knowing it. Spring shape and tension are not as compatible as some other adapters. Keep an eye on this in your car and wrap the adapter with tape to make it tighter, or use another QC3.0 adapter.
