Cannot be installed on the surface, the cable comes from below!
The photo is misleading. It's surface mount but they can't show you the cable coming out from the bottom so you can't flush mount it without drilling a hole for the cable. This defeats the purpose of the installation! The photos show that the cable exits the short side but actually exits the bottom. Do not buy if you want to mount flush to the surface!
