The wireless charger connects to a USB cable, but comes without a power adapter. Reading previous reviews I knew this was to be expected and luckily my desktop has USB ports. I really like the placement of this charger as the transparent border blends into the background and makes the charging indicator easy to see. The red light indicates the device is on, and once you've placed the device properly (no magnets and fully on the base) it turns blue to indicate it's charging. I have both Samsung and Apple phones and they both charge with no issues. Extremely convenient for wireless charging as you can get started easily and quickly.
