Absolutely perfect for the paddling pool, pool or lake. Very well made, offers full body UV protection and keeps our little one warm (both in the water and on land). We just got back from a vacation where we spent quite a bit of time at the beach and I can't tell you how many people have been asking where we got this from. [Many other toddlers froze after 10 minutes in the water and had to towel off right after getting out, but our little one was able to roam in and out of the water all day] Regarding size: Size 1 is a bit big for us 18 month old daughter (slim , weighs 22 pounds), but we just rolled up the legs and sleeves a bit, which works great. and who knows, it might even suit her next year. Although we ordered this from Canada (and therefore had to pay a ton of extra shipping and customs fees), I would immediately order another if this were ever lost. It really is that great!
