Too much beeping and no dimmer

I like the look of this fan, it's very stylish and modern. Installation wasn't difficult according to my friend who installed it. However I guess I was confused as I looked at so many different fans that when I got this one I swore it was dimmable as that was the important feature I was looking for. As it turns out, it has 3 lighting shades that you can use, but none of them are adjustable. It's frustrating, but then again, it's probably my fault for not keeping track of my research. The other annoying thing is that it beeps every time you perform any function at all. It will beep when you turn it on or off with the wall switch. It beeps every time you change the lighting setting. What's more, it turns off and on between each lighting setting instead of going straight from one to the other. This means that there are twice as many beeps as necessary. There is another review here that mentions a beep, but I must have missed it in my research. This is really VERY annoying and unnecessary. Is there a way to disable the beep? I live alone so it's not like I wake anyone up with my noise, but I just find it silly that he beeps every time. I can't say anything about the fan function because I haven't used it yet. I'll wait for the summer to try it. It's all already installed so I won't be changing it for a while, I'll try to live with it for at least a year to feel like I'm getting my money's worth. But I'm pretty sure I'll be changing it to a dimmable no-beep fan in a year (or less if I get a beep!).
