It is not see through and the fabric is very soft and nice and it seems they were all made consistently. Unfortunately, although soft, it is also stiff and will not drape well, it stays where it's at. Therefore, I looked like a heifer in this, very wide, and wide shouldered. I had gotten four colors with high hopes but had to return because I couldn't look like a linebacker. I got a size smaller and it fit well, I think a size bigger still wouldn't drape and it would have blown me up further. Glad it works for others.
