Review on Akko CS Switches Computer Accessories & Peripherals by Nick Howard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best budget switches

I don't usually write many rave reviews for many things unless I'm impressed, but these switches are amazing. I have sea blue, lavender and vintage white. I bought a pack of each to test. I'm a big fan of the tactile feel but just got the whites yesterday, haven't tested or oiled them yet but very excited to try. Right out of the box, they're all sleek and damn close to perfect. Blue and violet have a pleasing tactile feel, with violet being much more pronounced than blue but still having a pleasing power behind it. I would probably say that I like them equally for completely different reasons. The whites still seem smooth, but I plan to oil them up and put them in my keyboard soon, so I'll update this section when I do. . One thing I also wanted to mention is that the whites came literally the day after I ordered, which I wasn't expecting, so I'm seriously impressed and excited. The blue and purple (again, I'll update when I do the white ones) so far, super pretty. They have a pleasant sound, not too loud or harsh, and the feeling they give is very pleasant. I know that if I press a button, I'll get an immediate response. I have experience with all types of Gateron, Cherry and Outemu switches and akko is quite superior to Cherry and Gateron in terms of smoothness and feel. I would say Outemu Browns are my favorite sound wise but I still give akko my #1 recommendation and I already have a friend who builds his keyboard out of blues! Tldr: Feel free to buy these, they are affordable. sound great and feel great. If you don't want to hear YouTube say this, please listen to me, I'm just a random girl on the internet after all! :)
