I installed the color and ink cartridges in the printer at the same time. The printer recognized both cartridges; albeit at a low level. The color cartridge was detected as half full and the black cartridge as almost empty. When I bought it, I ordered 2 sets. I put in the next set of cartridges and both ink levels were detected as low but not as accurate as the first set. Cartridges work well when not being used for something professional. Do not use them for professional use as they have been printed with stripes. I wish I had used them sooner to get a refund.
