This case was advertised as being for the WaterPik. The instructions that came with the WaterPik explain that the device is waterproof and will get wet with normal use. Actually, you can use it in the shower. This means that if you need to store it, you need to keep it in a waterproof case. The case I received is made of fiberboard and will not last very long with a wet or damp irrigator. Remember that the water tank usually contains residual water at the bottom. It might be good for maintaining portable battery packs, but a wet WaterPik isn't great.
