I bought another one to fit in my wife's computer (she doesn't really appreciate or care). Over the past year I've found that ATT fiber is sometimes throttled, or maybe more neighbors in my stalemate. buying an ATT fiber my speeds are automatically throttled, but my speeds usually slow back down to 500/500s, although sometimes they still go up to 750/700+ speeds. My advice: don't get hung up on speeds and enjoy your gigafiber internet. As long as you have a decent Wi-Fi adapter like the ASUS USB-AC68 and a decent Wi-Fi router like the ASUS AC3100, your speeds will be in the 500/500 range. Unless you're a high-end video streaming company or a high-paying professional gamer, I can't imagine you needing this much faster than 500/500. That's the maximum you can depend on for years of reliable GigaFiber connections.
